Airlock is an application security program made by Ergon Informatik AG. The aim of the agreement is to supply the software and associated services to the federal administration and other related authorities. Thinking Objects brought SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH into the tender as a subcontractor and received the contract from the procurement office.

The Airlock Secure Access Hub combines the important IT security topics of filtering and authentication to form a well-matched overall package that sets new standards when it comes to operability and services. It covers all the important functions of cutting-edge application security: from an award-winning web application firewall (WAF), through customer identity and access management (cIAM) with integrated strong authentication (2FA) trusted by Swiss banks, all the way up to API and microservice security that meets the latest requirements. The Airlock IT security solution protects over 20 million active digital identities and 30,000 backends across over 600 customers throughout the entire world.

The procurement office performed an in-depth check of the technical and business performance of the providers, and set a Gold Partner status as a prerequisite.
