A look into the future: SVA & MINT EC

mint-ec-zukunftsforum-sva-2024

Many people know STEM from the school environment as an abbreviation for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Since this year, SVA has been a member of MINT-EC, the national excellence network of STEM schools, companies, universities and research institutions, and pursues the goal of getting pupils interested in STEM degree courses and training and promoting STEM talent.

In this way, SVA wants to make another important contribution to study and career guidance and promote the next generation of STEM talent in Germany. Of course, we are also activating, discovering and attracting IT enthusiasts to our degree courses and apprenticeships. For this year, we are already planning interactive workshops on current information technology topics, offers for career and study orientation and a further training program for teachers. As part of our offerings, pupils can immerse themselves in IT topics, get to know the world of work at SVA, expand their skills and exchange ideas with our experts.

SVA at the MINT-EC Future Forum 2024

We will also be at the national MINT-EC Future Forum on March 14 and 15, 2024! The two-day, hybrid event has the motto "Career guidance for STEM talents" and brings together a total of 1,000 participating STEM talents, companies and universities. On the first day, the focus will be on digital exchange between pupils, companies and universities. As part of this, we will present SVA and open up career prospects for the participants for the time after graduating from high school. On the second day, participants will be able to contribute and deepen their skills and interests in a variety of on-site workshops. We invite IT-enthusiastic students to the workshop "With Schrödinger's cat to more sustainability - how quantum computing is changing the world of IT" in Wiesbaden. Registration is still possible until 10.03.2024.
