“In the region, for the region” has been one of SVA’s guiding principles ever since the Wiesbaden-based company opened its first offices, and one that our employees in the eastern states of Germany have taken to heart.

The new office was symbolically opened by a small group of people on November 16. The City of Leipzig was represented by Clemens Schülke, head of the department for economy, work and digital technology. In his welcoming address, he praised the selection of Leipzig as the location: “Around 26,000 talented young people study IT-related subjects in our region, and Leipzig offers a wide range of customers as innovative digitalization partners. These are two great reasons for SVA to settle down here. We are delighted to welcome you and wish you great success.”

Peter Kühne, Managing Director at Lecos GmbH, was also a guest at the ceremony and was impressed by the presentation on “ethical hacking” in the IoT segment during a visit to the lab of the SVA Cyber Defense Team at the site.

For Jörg Madlung, Regional Manager for SVA East, and Jörg Prings, Head of Business Line Public Sector at SVA, the excellent prospects for business development in the region created the foundation to open the new site in Leipzig. “A diverse range of SMEs, innovation and research institutions, as well as the potential of clients in the public sector all help form our future outlook,” comments Jörg Madlung.
