Mirantis

Mirantis was founded in 1999 and specializes in OpenStack-related products. In 2019, the company acquired Docker Enterprise products, expanding its focus to container and Kubernetes-based solutions. Since 2016, Mirantis has been part of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), which also includes SVA (SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH).

Following the acquisition of Docker Enterprise products, a partnership developed between Mirantis and SVA. Through this partnership, Mirantis complements SVA's portfolio both in the OpenStack area and in the area of Kubernetes-based solutions. Despite the still comparatively young partnership, SVA is Mirantis Partner of the Year 2023.

SVA designs, implements and supports a variety of container and Kubernetes projects. Often IT departments start container environments on a small scale or in the cloud. The challenge of setting up larger, productive environments that run in their own data center or air-gapped is often quite different. Especially for the great expertise in this area, customers of SVA appreciate the company very much. In order to help customers in this field, SVA offers professional and well-founded expertise on the one hand, and has developed standards on the other hand, which help customers with these challenges.
