Wire, the world’s most secure collaboration and communication platform, is now selling its solution via the IT channel. Through its collaboration with SVA, the German and Swiss company is joining forces with one of Germany’s leading system houses, with many years of expertise in IT security. This makes SVA Wire’s first partner in Germany. Wire aims to use the collaboration to expand its customer base, particularly among large companies, government institutions and the public sector.

As a complete provider of IT solutions, SVA supports its clients from product selection to implementation and beyond. SVA staff are currently undergoing training in order to integrate Wire into the portfolio as quickly as possible, which in the coming weeks will be followed by a certification program for system engineers. This certification is particularly important for when Wire is provided on premises instead of in the cloud.

“SVA and Wire are ideal partners: SVA provides experience and contacts within large companies and governmental organizations, while Wire delivers the safest platform for communication and collaboration, thus perfectly augmenting SVA’s own portfolio,” comments Christian Nink, VP Sales EMEA at Wire. “COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of our collaboration. The pandemic is a wake-up call that has made businesses and governmental organizations aware of the importance of infrastructure for mobile working. At the same time, we need reinforced security measures to ensure that employees have access to modern technologies that prepare businesses for the future of work.”

“With Wire, we offer a secure platform for confronting the challenges of decentralized work (such as working from home or during a business trip). Whether on premises or in the cloud, Wire offers an excellent level of security and is well on the way to achieving BSI certification,” says Cédric Pielsticker, Partner Manager at SVA.

“The issue of IT security is increasingly posing challenges for businesses. Compliance legislation such as the EU GDPR have further raised the profile of IT security. Therefore, we need to take a holistic view of IT security across all levels, including the platforms used for communication and sharing material,” adds Philipp Alexander, CEO of SVA. “We are very happy to collaborate with Wire, as this allows us to develop security concepts for our clients that are even more reliable and comprehensive. Many clients are currently looking for new solutions and tools for communication and collaboration in particular.”
