Arctic makes it easy to manage tables in the lakehouse, and automatically optimises the data in the background to ensure high-performance access through Dremio Sonar, Spark, Flink, Snowflake, Athena, EMR and other engines. In addition, Arctic simplifies experimentation, data engineering and data governance by adopting Git concepts like branches, tags and commits, thereby introducing a new paradigm of data-as-code.
