Nextron Systems GmbH from Dietzenbach near Frankfurt is a globally leading provider of tools for compromise assessments. It is also the only provider of endpoint detection and response systems (EDR) in Germany.

Nextron has developed a technology for compromise assessments that lets users examine systems for traces of successful attacks regularly and efficiently. Using the THOR scanner, these systems check for over 25,000 signs of attack tools or traces of their activity. The technology already enjoys widespread use among large corporations and governments, and is also known as IOC scanning or continuous compromise assessments. These act as a kind of quality assurance for corporate IT security functions.

Nextron’s EDR system Aurora is capable of detecting and stopping threats as soon as they arise. It is based on the open Sigma standard, making its reaction completely transparent for users.

Both systems are controlled by Nextron’s own management system ASGARD. This supports the administration of up to 1.5 million endpoints at a single management station. ASGARD also has a wide range of response functions for the efficient and targeted resolution of any detected system violations.

The ASGARD management systems are available as a virtual or physical appliance. The solution from Nextron can be integrated into practically any SOAR framework via API, while there are also interfaces for sandboxes and SIEM systems. Compromise assessment and remediation functions are offered for all standard Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems. The Aurora EDR system is currently only available for Windows.
