Nextron Systems GmbH
Nextron Systems GmbH, based in Dietzenbach near Frankfurt am Main, is a leading global provider of tools for compromise assessments. Nextron is also the only provider of EDR (endpoint detection and response) systems in Germany.
With regard to compromise assessments, Nextron has developed a technology that enables systems to be regularly and efficiently scanned for traces of successful attacks. The THOR scanner is used to examine systems for the presence of over 25,000 signs of attack tools or traces of their activity. The technology is already widely used in large corporations and governments and is known under terms such as IOC scanning or continuous compromise assessments. Continuous compromise assessments represent, so to speak, the quality assurance authority of a company's IT security functions.
The EDR system from Nextron Systems (AURORA) is capable of detecting and preventing threats at the moment they arise. It is based on the open Sigma standard and is therefore completely transparent to the user in its response.
Both systems are controlled via the ASGARD management system, which was also developed by Nextron. It supports the management of up to 1.5 million endpoints at a single management station. In addition, ASGARD has extensive response functions to efficiently and effectively remedy any detected system intrusions.
The ASGARD management systems are offered as virtual or physical appliances. Nextron's solution can be integrated into virtually any SOAR framework via API. There are also interfaces to sandboxes and SIEM systems, among others. Compromise assessment and remediation functions are offered for all common Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. AURORA EDR is currently only available for Windows.
