GitLab is an American company founded in 2011 that sells software under the same name.

The GitLab solution makes it possible to set up a complete automation pipeline, thus allowing users to plan and manage projects in an agile way, while saving code of any kind, such as Markdown, Ansible or Python, in a structured way. It also enables joint development, version management and documentation, and the use of automated workflow codes.

GitLab describes itself as “a complete DevOps platform, delivered as a single application that does everything from project planning and source code management to CI/CD, monitoring and security.”
