AWS Immersion Day
As a leading AWS partner in the DACH region, SVA supports its customers in deploying AWS services for a wide variety of workloads and use cases. We attach great importance to enablement and knowledge transfer to our customers, as this is an important principle for a long-term and trustful cooperation.
For this reason, we use AWS Immersion Days to offer structured workshops tailored to the customer. The AWS Immersion Days enable customers to familiarize themselves with AWS services in a hands-on manner and deepen their understanding.
What is AWS Immersion Day?
AWS Immersion Day is a structured and customized workshop on various AWS services and solutions. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, start or continue your Cloud Journey together with SVA. As a partner, AWS offers us exclusive access to materials to conduct a customized workshop with our customers. The use of sandboxes as well as the mapping of PoC's represents an important medium for knowledge transfer and enablement for us. Our workshops are divided into 3 phases:
- Preparation of the workshop (what are the goals, expectations, pain points)
- Execution of the workshop
- Follow-up (setting up PoC's, migration of workloads)
To whom are the AWS Immersion Days targeted?
Due to the shortage of skilled workers, companies are often unable to sustainably manage the transition to the cloud journey. If the necessary skills are lacking in-house, partners and system integrators can provide ideal support.
In some cases, the customer first needs a "General Immersion Day" (basics of AWS) to understand how AWS and the different services work. Another scenario is that the customer has a specific use case that they want to implement on AWS, but lack the expertise to understand the technical details of the services for the use case.
Workshops according to customer needs
The Immersion Day Workshop is tailored to the needs of the customer. The current state of your Cloud Journey is carefully analyzed, stakeholders are identified and the workshop is customized accordingly. Experienced AWS architects conduct the workshops and enrich them with hands-on exercises. A key focus is to familiarize the customer with the AWS console and interface to ensure a sound mastery of the platform, avoid potential mistakes and apply best practices in a targeted manner. In addition, we are always on hand to support our customers as they build and implement new services.
