Elastic can be implemented in a standard node-based set-up (instances). It is also possible to use a private cloud, such as for multi-cluster environments. Here, it is integrated in the existing container orchestration either as an Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE), a stand-alone application or as an Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK). Elastic’s enterprise arm offers support and several additional functions via a subscription, particularly in the areas of security, management and AI.
