NVIDIA leverages the advantages of graphics cards (parallel computing operations) and offers solutions for accelerating applications in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and high-performance computing (HPC). In addition to hardware, this also involves a range of software, such as developer kits and developer tools, as well as specially developed code that accelerates AI and HPC applications. NVIDIA GPUs are thus the driving force behind the rapid development of artificial intelligence.

NVIDIA entered the data center sector with classic vGPU hardware and software products for virtual desktops, applications, and workstations. Terms such as GRID and Quadro (virtual workstations or CAD workstations) play an important role here, as do the underlying virtualization technologies that meet the workload requirements of modern workstations and also increase the user density per server.

The graphics cards are installed in servers from our OEM manufacturers (including Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Fujitsu, Cisco, and Supermicro).

NVIDIA has developed its own platform specifically for artificial intelligence developments. The DGX systems are tailored to the requirements of deep learning and artificial intelligence. In addition to the A100 GPUs, the DGX systems are particularly notable for the software stack they come with (GPU cloud, containers with ready-made frameworks, coordinated drivers), the uniform support for the entire stack, and the NVLink technology (GPU interconnect).

Why SVA?

SVA has been involved in the development of these areas since the early stages. Thanks to significant investments in our own demo lab and the training of our system engineers and data scientists, we were able to gain experience early on and carry out PoCs (proof of concept studies) together with customers.
